The Temple Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the McLennan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) every second and fourth Wednesday of the month.
The second Wednesday will be dedicated to training seminars held from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. in addition to individual counseling sessions conducted afterward.
On the fourth Wednesday, individual businesses and entrepreneurs will have an opportunity for private counseling by appointment. For more information, call Jason Ehler at 254-624-5440
For the sake of personalized interaction and to allow for addressing individual questions, the seminars will be limited to 12 individuals. They will detail various topics critical to the success of small businesses. Themes such as basic start-up knowledge, technical financial assistance, strategic planning, leadership, marketing, expanding your business, and more will be addressed.
New entrepreneurs and businesses will have the chance to schedule appointments for free, in-depth counseling and consultation on several topics including business planning, financial analysis and strategic sales plans. These services provided by the SBDC are open to any small business in the greater Temple community.
The McLennan SBDC gives management and technical assistance to local small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. Their business consultation services provide face-to-face meetings discussing topics ranging from business plan development, capital acquisition, marketing, regulatory compliance, to global trade. The SBDC partnership includes the Small Business Administration, the North Texas SBDC, the McLennan Community College and the Temple Chamber of Commerce.
