Protect your family, business, and your assets with this lifelong learning class. This class will give a small business owner an overview of Marketing not advertising. We will help you determine who your customer is and how your product or service is positioned and perceived in the marketplace. We will show you how to determine what your strengths and weakness are as well as those of your competition. Anyone is welcome to come and learn from Jason Ehler and pairs perfectly with the other "HOW TO" series about small business.

For the sake of personalized interaction and to allow for addressing individual questions, the seminars will be limited to 12 individuals. They will detail various topics critical to the success of small businesses. Themes such as basic start-up knowledge, technical financial assistance, strategic planning, leadership, marketing, expanding your business, and more will be addressed.

New entrepreneurs and businesses will have the chance to schedule appointments for free, in-depth counseling and consultation on several topics including business planning, financial analysis and strategic sales plans. These services provided by the SBDC are open to any small business in the greater Temple community.

The McLennan SBDC gives management and technical assistance to local small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. Their business consultation services provide face-to-face meetings discussing topics ranging from business plan development, capital acquisition, marketing, regulatory compliance, to global trade. The SBDC partnership includes the Small Business Administration, the North Texas SBDC, the McLennan Community College and the Temple Chamber of Commerce.
