Since 1984, the McLennan Community College Small Business Development Center (MCC SBDC) has provided the tools and resources necessary to help businesses compete in an increasingly challenging global economy.  We offer free business consulting and affordable training seminars designed to help you attract customers, imporve operations, increase sales, and successfully access capital. The purpose of the MCC SBDC is to promote economic and community development in our seven county service area by fostering the development and success of small businesses.  We serve individuals and communities by providing high quality counseling, training and information consistent with the goals of MCC, SBA, NTSBDC and local partners.  The MCC SBDC is working diligently to be your recognized leader for small business assistance in the area.    SBDC staff members provide free one-on-one counseling to business owners or prospective business owners.  In your first meeting with an advisor, a preliminary assissment will be made.  We work with established and start-up businesses, as well as with individuals who are planning to go into business.  The center's professional focus is interactive counseling, so that you will be trained in management techniques throughout the counseling process.  The SBDC staff subscribes tot he highest standards of professional conduct.  All information regarding your business will remain confidential.
